Highly disappointing! I always pass by Chucks and see so many cars there so we decided to go and see what the fuss was and first the service was horrible our waiter didn't even talk much to us. Then we were handed these shameful paper menus which was horrible and then looking through the menu there really wasn't much to choose from, we ended up leaving and not ordering.

We go to Chucks once in a while with an elderly friend. She loves it but we are not such big fans. It is incredibly expensive for a decent meal. The decor is so dated, they need a make over badly. But it isn't just the decor, everything about Chucks is very dated. Except for the waitstaff, they have never been bad but ill trained and inexperienced. They definitely cater to boring palettes. But I've never had an issue with the quality of the food.

The steaks are great,salad bar is great. Everything is ala-carte. The steak comes with salad bar only. So a steak typically runs $30-35+,plus each side and drink so it easily goes $55 a person not counting desert. The decor I don't think has been changed since it opened, looks like 1978 inside. If you can afford $120+ for dinner for 2,not counting tip, then go. Otherwise someplace else would better suit you.

A cut of steak worthy of the finest diner. Diner as in the place that serves breakfast, not one who eats fine food. Over cooked grey slab of USDA who knows what?

I cannot understand the enthusiasm over Chuck's. Food is mediocre at best. The unlimited salad bar is probably the draw. No presentation and the main courses are average at best.
