Back after the storm, the food at Commander's Palace is a must addition to any New Orleans visit. Beuatifully restored, the elegant dining rooms provide a wondefful setting for a true NO experience. From the incredible soups and gumbos to the signature bread pudding souffle, Commander's is back and ready!

If you get the chance, eat on the second floor. It's beautiful! The menu alternates so don't expect to get the same thing every time you go. I went for my birthday and college graduation, and they gave me a chef hat!

Was surprised at the excellent menu, food preparation and service in such a recognized tourist destination. A bit of a barn in size, albeit nice and bright at lunch.
