I've been coming since the first week they've opened. The food remains outtanding- though I miss the peanut butter sundaes. But even though we've celebrated our anniversaries, birthday and even got engaged here, the restaurant never blinked or acknowledged any of these occasions. So while Mark's is the kind of place to go for special occasions, don't expect anything above and beyond in this very busy and very loud dining room.

"They have blackboards with specials, but without most prices, which seems intended to deceive the customer since the blackboard specials are often considerably more expensive than similar on-the-menu items.

I was expecting the best Italian food from reading other reviews, and was disapointed. The food was only ok. Maybe I am spoiled by Italian restaurants in New York, LA and Chicago?

One of the best restaurants the city has to offer. The cost is justified due to the level of service and quality of food. It has wonderful, northern Italian food.

Well, what else can be said. As close to culinary perfection as ever found. Delicious. But they know it, so the service can be dry at time.

Very pricey...but fun and exciting night. The food choices were an adventure and tasting new and different offerings were a foodie's dream. Keep it on your special occasion list.
