You roll the dice when you enter this overcrowded noise palace that draws humongous crowds for portions, served family style, that could feed a starving nation. Totally illogical seating arrangements just inside the front door from which you could put together a survey on what belts dozens of people are wearing this year. Food is near authentic, wait staff is earnest and kitchen staff Olympian.
Simple italian served family style. not a lot of creativity in the menu, insanely large portions...again, if i can make it at home, i will.
We have been going to the Litchfield branch of this restaurant since it opened a few years ago. What a great place! Host Viron welcomes all. Yummy "Da Capo chips" (fried eggplant and zucchini), plus brick oven pizzas, and arugula salad are our favorites. The "Family" size dishes are a plus for large groups. Great pastas and homemade desserts too.
We returned here in the same week because we loved it so much. Try the capo fries!
Do not eat here if you would like your table's entrees to arrive at the same time. After several visits, we have not had a properly prepared or served meal.
