This is as local as you can get and is an old Atlanta destination. The food is good, but this is adult's only. It is well worth going to if you are adventerous and lock your car.
I can take or leave the barbecue here. The cornbread? That's another matter altogether. So dense as to be spoonbread, it is moist, heavy, lightly sweet, almost a meal unto itself, and ... approximately as costly as tapwater. If you've never sampled this miracle of down-home cuisine, it merits a trip all its own. Beware, though, as it seems only one of the restaurant's bakers has mastered this item.
Daddy D's is delicious, dapper with the snapper
Expensive mediocre barbecue. Much better food a short drive away - our first visit was, without question, our last.
Great B'Cue !
