Dao was delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful and varied. The decor was great. The atmosphere was nice and quiet (though there were very few other people there at that time). Service was great and the price was fair. The only down side was the cold air that came through when someone came through the front door. Fabulous place! Will visit every time we go to Chicago!

First, the good. The prices are very reasonable. Some of the dishes are excellent, some are medicore. We went with a group of 9. They were patient with the fact many of our guests were very late. Service was okay.
The beef and basil was a stand-out, The pad thai and curry fried rice were pretty good. Pad prik was medicore. Most dishes were not at all hot unless requested.
Overall, it is inexpensive and okay if you are in the area.
