Bold flavored, "new-style" Italian menu makes Davanti Enoteca the brightest new star in Little Italy. We love stopping here for a glass of wine and sharing some of Davanti's delicious small plates when the traffic is backed up on I-290. Kill an hour or so here and, voila, the traffic has cleared up! Much more enjoyable and without the stress of sitting in traffic.
it is a pretty good place to try, the best part for me was the Desserts, they were superbly good. the food is not bad at all but also not like to extra amazingly awesome, i would rate this restaurant some where between good and very good. at last you will not be dissapointed with the food for sure.
I wanted badly to love Davanti. From the cozy wine bar decor, the rustic Italian small plates, to the affordable price points, it was right up my alley. But the bland potato pizza, the unsurprising pork belly, and the merely-nice uni pasta took some of the zing out. Still, I'd rather spend a night here snacking on chicken liver mousse and learning to drink wine than almost any other place.
Executes the latest pork belly/charcuterie/artisan cheese concept very well.
Don't you love it when a place lives up to the hype. Food was inventive but had a base in traditional. Meal was well paced. Even though no reservation policy, they let you hit a neighboring bar and will call you when the table is ready.
