I finally get it - the 4:15 same day reservations are for the "B-List" folk like us. The "A-List" gets a table whenever they want.

A very warm welcome and every effort to please awaits you once you get past the busy signal. Fresh seafood, particularly the daily specials. Mixed, lively crowd. Worth the drive.

In the land of pretentious, over-priced restaurants, Dave's stands tall - this was our best dining experience in the hamptons full stop. Actually Good food and good service and even good cocktails for a decent price.

Sassy, friendly staff are the stars. Fresh seafood main dishes are strong, but appetizers tend to be fried and overly greasy. Patio overlooks a parking lot.
