We went because of a groupon - of which I am glad. It was a fun and different place to be if you've never had Ethiopian food. If you have, it's still fun to go if you're going with friends who've never had it ;) Tearing off the injera and sampling the strange piles of often mushy food is fun, and fairly tasty. The wines are lacking, but the experience makes up for it.
Excellent Ethiopian finger food, so so service and decor. Outside patio is pleasant in the summer time. Kind of. If you ignore all the traffic and exhaust from people parking next to you. Sig.
You can smell the sauces/spices from this place from the Lawrence El stop. Generous portions and nice variety. Live music made for a fun atmosphere. Service was just okay - wait staff made helpful recommendations, but had a tendency to disappear once it got busy. Would return here over other Ethiopian places in the area.
