Exceptional restaurant. The food is amazing from the onion soup to the duck and is presented beautifully. The dining room is modern, chic and has a relaxed ambiance. The service is equisite. Wonderful special occassion venue. Cant wait to go back.
More here: http://molltk3.blogspot.com/2012/12/boston-restaurants-d.html I started with the 9 hour french onion soup which was slowly carmalized and included a beef bone marrow crouton topped with comté cheese. A large portion of a classic french onion soup, drenched in umami flavors and topped with a stringy comté, this soup had been cooking for much longer than 9 hours. I found myself almost finishing it, until I realized it was quite salty.
This restaurant is amazing. The food is great, presentation is beautiful and the service is exceptional. The Decor is sophisticated and chic which lends to both a romantic and classy atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I made meal selections based on the recommendation of my waitress. This isn't the average grab and go type of restaurant and the cost is reflective of the exceptional food and atmosphere.
Excellent-- our favority restaurant in Boston. The staff is extremely knowledgable on cooking techniques, the menu, ingredients, and wine. The food is artfully presented. Great combinations of ingredients. Amazing!!!
A definite must go to!
Sexiest dining room in Boston, besting my previous favorite Sorrelina, very comfortable. Very good service. I tried the winter vegetable salad, the potato string nest thing is a little dated, but I liked the salad. I loved the duck dish that featured a temperature contrast with cold figs stuffed with bleu cheese, just awesome. Wine list exceptional, but pricey, cocktail list also terrific. No experience like it in Boston, would definitely return.
