OK it's a "sandwich place" but it's the best. I was surprised to see only two reviews. True European experience....great food without all the fru fru. Starting with the basics...the bread is great...throw on truly fresh ingredients....wine and beer... a peaceful stop between the Old North Church
and Faneuil Hall.
The 18-inch subs ($9) are very filling. Though they’re not as thick as standard subs at other places, two people could probably share one sub. If you take home leftovers, take out the fillings and then toast the bread, then remake the sandwich; otherwise the bread is tough to bite. A few small tables and not much atmosphere, but you can’t beat the prices in the North End.
Fresh tasting pasta, very good Dino's Special sub (mozzarella, tomato, basil, capicola, balsamic vinegar). Quality ingredients. Low-key cafe atomosphere, great corner location.
