Good food but service is poor. Just keep coming back for the food.

We were sat promptly, but then waited close to ten minutes for our server to appear. We ordered cocktails and an appetizer; the app arrived before the drinks. Service improved slightly, but could have been better. Food was good, but underwhelming. Not a bad place to go if you're in the area, but I wouldn't make a point to return.

Visited with high expectations after 2011 NY Times review, however, we were very disappointed. Prime rib at $32, just so-so (and served not warm enough) and shepherd's pie was almost 90% potato topping. Have decided we will no longer eat here.

I went to the Dish Bar and Grill in Avon and the the manager was dressed so casual he looked like a lumberjack. Sometimes this place can look really dirty; there are crumbs and spills on the floor that look like they've been there for a long time. The food is good most of the time. Service can be spotty.
