So Very LOUD!!! One can't hear himself think. This place has been known for years as having horrible accoustics. The food is ok, nice wine list with plenty of affordable selections. The service can be spotty, depending on who's your waiter/waitress. However, the loyal RVC fans keep coming back for more.

Maybe they had an off day.The waiter suggested a variety of appetizers,but brought too little for 9 people,mostly young men.Long wait between courses.Once entrees were served, 8 of us waited,our food cooling,till the 9th person was served.Pannacotta was rubbery.The waiter burned the bananas foster,apologized,but the manager served it anyway(we sent it back).AMERICAN cheesecake was recommended,ordered,but ITALIAN cheesecake arrived.Disappointing.

I went there on my 2nd date with my boyfriend. The food was amazing!!! The wait staff was friendly, not over our shoulder every five minutes. We enjoyed the pasta dishes, which melted in your mouth.. The atmosphere was a little dark(lighting), but nice. Made the date romantic and memorable.
We will go back there anytime.

We waited for a special ocassion to visit Dodici after hearing many positive things. It was our anniversay, when went. We split a caesar salad to start and it was less than mediocre. Poorly prepared, poorly cut salad ribs, and the croutons were soggy.
Our entrees, homemade pastas, were better, however my wife's spinach tagliatelle included an 8" piece of dental floss or some similar string like thing. Very disappointing. Don't waste your time.Published September 14, 2011 -

All the homemade pasta's are fantastic.
One of my favorite Italian restaurants. This restaurant is a must try! Seriously you cannot go wrong with any of the pasta's. For dessert try the banana fosters, it's out of this world! I don't know what else to say because I'm drooling for their food now.
Try this place and you will not be disappointed.
