Decent breakfast, but nothing special. Quaint local bar. Beware: bartender will give you drinks you haven't ordered (seemingly "on the house") and will then charge you for them.
Amazing! I stayed two nights and three days at The Dolly Madison Inn and would go back in a second! They had a great relaxed atmosphere and a menu that appeals to the whole family. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I recomand The Dolly Madison Inn to all!
It is appearent to me that those who write reviews have a stong opinion it is mire statistics, those who make the reviews feel stongly one way or the other. One thing I must say after reading the reviews and expecting the worst was that the Dolly Madison is one of the greatest kept secret. The food is sepreme and the waitstaff friendly. Two thumbs up to the Dolly Madison
I was in roughly a month ago and The Dolly Madison Inn has an awesome atmosphere. From great food to great fun; Kareoke and delicious NY Strip Steak I highly recomemend, no matter the occasion the Dolly Madison accomidates all.
The worn and yellowed furnishings look like they were ripped right from one of Dolly Madison's colonial dresses. Don't let that deter you from sitting down to order one of the best cups of lobster bisque found along the Shoreline. Great stuffed shrimp, too. If local favorite high school teacher Dan Mulvey is tending bar, then you know you'll get a great drink.
