My kids love this place. They say "it's the best diner ever...and the doughnuts!" OK, that's their opinion. I say it's very good. Big portions, some homemade stuff - people come in for pies, etc. all the time. I don't - my wife is an awesome baker. That said, people who trash this place for being what it is - a diner - miss the point. It's got some special features - early American decor, homemades, doughnuts, etc. And it has good coffee.

Went here for breakfast and had superb omelet with mushrooms, onions, peppers and swiss cheese. Huge portions and home fried potatoes were excellent too. Good value for the price!

An overrated diner. This is a simple diner, nothing more, nothing less with some hits and misses. The donuts, donut bread pudding, and chicken pies which are celebrated whenever talking about Dottie's are just ho-hum

Great diner food and atmosphere. Cheerful spot for good brreakfast classics. Wonderful doughnuts for take-out or eat in.
