  • Great place for date (sit in the bar) or for family dinner. The frozen margaritas are the absolute best, and it's a sin not to order the guacamole appetizer. An eager employee will roll out a cart of ingredients, prepare it in front of you, using a mortar & pestle and serve it with freshly baked chips. Absolutely delightful.

  • No gimmicks, just darn good. Rolando and staff serve up freshly prepared Mexican favorites like Arroz con Pollo, and Carnitas along with traditional and contemporary dishes, all prepared with the best ingredients. Homemade sangrias, fresh margaritas with a kick, all with great service. Guacamole Mocajete made tableside is the best! Can get crowded on Saturdays so go early or make a reservation.

  • Go early on Saturdays. Extremely popular and growing. The best available in a wide area although this is not New Mexico. Mexican, not Tex-Mex. The specials can be wonderful. This is Mexican cuisine, not just combination plates. Very friendly staff. The tile floor can get treacherously slick, so watch those strong Margaritas!

  • We finally found a decent Mexican place in the Trumbull/Monroe area. This place hits it on all marks. The food was well prepared, the salsa and guacamole were fantastic and the chips were crispy and tasty. To add to that the Margaritas were flavorful and they had a bite so you know they were not cheap with the tequilla. The service was great and they even brought a complimentary spiced wine to end the meal. Also great place for family's.

  • They always make you feel welcome, though the place can get noisy! Great basic food (try the adobo sauce!), done well each time. Drinks are strong, and service is always looking to please. Sometimes very quiet, but don't let that fool you.
