This Rockville Centre staple has been there as long as I've lived on Long Island, and has changed very little (a plus to me!), although I've seen a recent renovation underway. The food is authentic Mexican. Try the Black Bean Soup. One of the best Mole Poblanos I've ever tried. I've been a faithful customer going on 20 years and can't say enough good about the restaurant, Pancho, and the rest of the staff. Viva El Mariachi!

Margarita's are perfect... the definition of what a margarita should be. I personally think the food is fantastic and cheap, although my friends think otherwise. The outdoor backyard is great during the summer and sometimes have live music. I recommend El Mariachi for sure.

Different but great variation of nachos. Home-made salsa is one of the best out there. Simple, yet very well prepared traditional Mexican cuisine. Bar drinks are on the weak side. All in all this friendly Mexican restaurant offers cozy atmosphere and great food. Well worth a try.
