Love it; don't get here enough...
skip this place and head over to manny's. you will thank me later. better selection of food and the staff is nicer.
What a fun place and great to take out-of-town guests. The decor is a beautiful mix of diner and art deco with towering pillars that support a beautiful old tiled ceiling. You can get green river and black cows and fun waitresses who tell you what their favorite menu items are. A well-needed Jewish deli in Chicago.
This place has been disappointing one too many times to the point that I won't go anymore despite it being right in my neighborhood. Too bad, there are so few diners and delis left, wish they could get it right.
A mediocre attempt at a great idea in a great location. Dishes are fine but I expect more from a LEY new concept. Too much food on the plate; messy is a kind description for the presentation; and one asks how can you screw up such traditional fare?
