I arrived to a packed house, 30 minute wait inside and 15 outside that turned into 25. The place looked clean until you looked closer and smelled the combination of stale beer, vomit, urine, and our server's BO and Axe. Wasn't offered water or a menu while waiting. Food promised on the website was unavailbe, and after 30 minutes waiting on nachos became aware that the kitchen is about quantity not quality. The staff was rude and food cold.

My first visit to Eli Cannon's was in 2005. If i had to write a review at that time, it would have easily been 5 stars. Beers that were rare to find at a package store were readily available on tap, and beers I would have never have thought to try were recommended by the educated bar staff. An all in all great experience for the beer enthusiast.
Come 2011. What the hell happened?

Eli's has wide variety of bottled beer and keg beer, making it a beer snob's dream!!! The food is pub food with jamaican twist. Bring a group of friends and order a round of beer with some nachos they are huge!!! Believe me you be ordering more nachos after devouring this cheesy spicy creation!!

Amazing beer selection. Decor is unique and eclectic. Definitely a place to go over and over again.
