They have a great brisket sandwich lunch special, pretty good drink specials, but an off the beaten path location. I would have never known about this place if I didn't work so close.

On a fried chicken mission we set our sites on El's after hearing they serve up some of the best in the city. The restaurant is a lil loungey & a carpeted floor is probably not ideal for a place that serves up fried chicken but who cares? FRIED CHICKEN! It was served pipping hot! Moist & crisp and absolutely delicious. We found it a tad salty but very enjoyable. Besides, that's what water is for!

Inside seating is cozy, comfortable, small patio also. Service good. We tried the spinach / artichoke dip and spinach salads, both were fine, liked the lemon vinaigrette that came on the salad. Smoked chicken was the star, beef brisket was also very good,
