I am so disappointed. After these reviews I was expecting something special. This was just bland. Almost tasteless taramosalata, which should have a bite. Avgolemono which was neither thick nor particularly lemony. Dolmades which seemed to have only vaguely flavored rice in them. Overcooked souvlaki. Excellent lamb chops, however, and very pleasant service.
Fantastic Greek cuisine in downtown Stamford. The octopus appetizer was fresh, fresh, fresh. All the entrees are delicious. From lamb to shrimp to steak to the fish of the day, it's well conceived and tasty. Be sure to order the lemon potatoes as a side - they're heavenly. Prices are a bit high, but the location and decor are nice. Service was a bit abrupt.
Perfectly cooked seafood, maybe the best Octopus I have ever had. Every morsel was delicious and authentic. Perfect service. Though the sparse, white decor is borderline bland, and the tables are rather small; we will still be back again and again.
Good but not great for the price. Service was junior--waited 15 minutes for the server to ask me if I wanted a glass of wine...even longer for the 2nd glass. Food was very good, but for the price I would have expected it to be great.
Very good Greek dishes made quite obviously with higher quality ingredients than most Greek restaurants. The owner and staff are eager to offer top quality service.
