Not sure if we hit Escorpion after the lunch rush but the service sucked in spite of being one of a handful of tables in the restaurant. Had to ask for drinks, plates and silverware which set off the attitude of the already scarce wait staff. Food was cold/mediocre as a result. Only tequila shots could have saved this meal, that and a different restaurant.
We had our rehearsal dinner after-party here and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The drinks were fantastic and the food was great (though I only had a couple of taco's). One of the highlights of our wedding experience!
Excellent quesadilla and fish tacos but the Churros are the best.
I ate lunch at Escorpion a few weeks after it opened. I love Sotto Sotto and Fritti, but found the food at Escorpion just average. The service was abysmally slow -- yes, we were a large party, but we were virtually the only people there. I felt like I was eating in an empty barn.
Daring combinations of Tapas by the chef. A lot make it, only a few fail. If you like the day of the dead celebration, you will love the interior.
