Outstanding and different menu. Very friendly service. Seafood stew excellent, appetizer (afternoon in Portugal) excellent. Flat steak excellent. Chocolate mouse decadently good. I can't wait to go back.
Apps (Octopus salad, cod croquettes) & dessert (Portuguese cheesecake and some kind of dark chocolate mousse) were excellent. Entrees (baked cod w/ veg, fisherman's stew) were just good. Service was *outstanding*. They take care of you if you're new to Portuguese food like we were, let you taste several wines if you want, and clearly care about the food they put out. Also appear to have actual Portuguese staff across the board.
Cute little family restaurant with authentic Portuguese fare according to my Portuguese fiancé but even he felt the food needed salt and a bigger punch of spices. Service was wonderful and attentive.
Great little restaurant with excellent food. The sausage prepared table side was delicious, so different from any sausage we ever had. The paella was light and chock full of seafood, including a whole lobster. Avoid the crowds and go early. Wait staff was attentive and very knowledgable about the Portuguese wines.
Great little restaurant with fantastic food, Chef Raul is a master in the kitchen. Owners Eduardo & Alison are the most gracious of people and treat all patrons like they are family. No reservations and they are open 7 days a week! Grilled Calamari and grilled sardines are my favorites, but everything we have eaten there is great. Don't miss FADO!
