Our first and only experience was in Yuma AZ They advertise "slathered in sauce" these were the driest ribs ever. The corn was like rubber because of sitting in liquid all day and the fries likewise too flexible. talked to Mgr who couldn't have cared less. sent a letter with NO response. We will not return.
The service was great , the food was so-so, the price is up there with really good BBQ. Maybe Dave's dong something right, but I'm sure missing it at their Mesa AZ store
As seen on TV, a perfectly obnoxious loudmouth "Dave", cajoling the unfortunates who know nothing about good BBQ to step into one of his franchises, so they will eat some of his awful food. If you know what good BBQ is, you won't find it at Famous Dave's.
I hate to admit that we like this place. Not the best BBQ in the universe, but this is Tucson.
