This restuarant will have you feeling you just stepped into the Godfather movie as the letters of the restaurant are actually made to look similar to the way Godfather was written in the movie.
It really gave off a feel of being upper class which I liked not just another Olive Garden, not that there is anything wrong with Olive Garden I like that place too, just this seemed a little more dressy. The food was beyond devine and I am going back.
"Over the top, mafia-themed restaurant disguises good food. Garish red decor feels more appropriate for Las Vegas."
Reliably good food in the arts district. Just an easy stroll or quick trolley ride from the Winspear Opera House so it is a really good place for a pre-theater dinner.
What a huge disappointment! I was taken there as an out-of-town guest before theater and my hosts were horrified. The waiter was pitiful - extremely inexperienced and unknowledgeable. The food was subpar - my eggplant was woefully undercooked, an arugula salad was primarily spinach, and a bone-in pork chop was overcooked and chewy. We had to seek out the manager and found him to be rude and arrogant, Do not waste your time and money!
Granddaughter of longtime Dallas restaurant family opens hip version of her family cooking (Egyptian). Food similar to family restaurant staples but with a bigger price tag...setting in beautiful One Art's Plaza with views of the new Pritzger prize winning architectural wonders of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts. The name and decorative photos are a nod to rumors of family mafia ties.
