solid, but not outstanding
Fresh, inexpensive sushi, staff is oddly out of touch at times. Nice drop in spot.
Given the Zagat ratings, I was expecting more - especially in the value category. The service was a bit hasty and militant but not bad. The fish and other food was excellent and it was a good value. Matsu Sushi in Westport (which oddly, is rated considerably more expnsive) offers better value, service and atmosphere ...and fish that is every bit as good and with many inventive roll choices.
Some the best Sashimi I have eaten anywhere in the world.
The food rating is too low. This is a very good place with good prices, service, and attractive presentations. Underrated. The place could use a little better decor but the food is very good.
