Stayed at the Bulfinch Hotel and had breakfast at the Flat Iron. I will never go back again. The english muffin was bearly toasted also it was cold and came with no butter. I had to ask for jelly for my english muffin. Even then it was effort for the staff to bring only 1 out. This visit was on July 8, 2011.
Do not, again I say do not waste your money like I did. WALK AWAY WHILE YOU CAN. And forget about what my husband had. Overrated
terrible service
Thursday evening: food was terrible, service was horrendous. 45 min. after ordering, medium rare sliders came well done, Andalusian meatballs were cold inside, filet tasted like liver. Waitress had too many tables to pay any attention. Had to ask 3 times to check on drink order. Left cash on table rather than wait for check.
The food is delicious. The location is great, between the garden, government center, etc. and this is one of the more upscale offerings you will find in that bar-ry part of town. Tapas were fun to share and made it affordable. Good breakfast too.
