So here's the deal, the burgers and shakes are fantastic, borderline best you'll have. Unfortunately, I've gotten sick here twice and it's been shut down before too. When it launched it was phenomenal but it needs care. The servers need training, and the staff in the back need attention before it falls into being "just a burger place" it'll thrive if it stays true to it's launch.
Burgers and shakes done gourmet style.
bleh. Its just trying too hard, in my opinion. The bun, in particular, just wasn't all that. Being a vegetarian, though, I do need to put in a plug for the faux-lafel burger - creative and tasty. The fries and bun, though, they were the part of the meal that stands out, and that wasn't so pretty.
Nice hip place for gourmet burgers and shakes.
Creative and consistent, Flip does not disappoint on repeat visits. Burgers include approachable gourmet touches like smoked mayo and red wine jam that showcase Richard Blais' Top Chef credentials. Fun atmosphere, though overly loud music can hinder conversation. Service can be lackluster, since most of the staff are clearly models and actors biding time until their next callback.
