The space for the restaurant is 1/2 bar A sports bar ambience. There is no carpeting in the restaurant so it is very noisy. Decor and furniture have a clean but spartan feeling. food is ok, not great, making it appear overpriced for what it is. Some dishes such as grilled rapini are welcome additions to the menu, the squid ink spaghetti feels commercially made with more color than taste. Service is spotty and not welcoming
Breakfast service was awful, the dining room understaffed and stressed. Food was ok but overall not worth the effort
Great happy hour
Very good Italian-oriented food in a rich setting with great spacing between tables. Perfect for an important business lunch or dinner; food is very good without being edgy, and the room looks serious and lush.
Best pasta in Chicago....and everything else is great, too!
