Large menu of fusion & slightly traditional dishes (don't come here looking for mooshoo pork) are each helpfully paired w/selections from the great wine list. For summer they add a tapas-style & dumpling menu, some of which you can order 3 kinds for 20.11, a nice deal & quite tasty if too similar to each other. Our entrees were well prepared & delicious. Nice Asian twist on dessert items, incl. ice cream flavors. Elegant modern decor. Will return
Their seafood soup is great.
I hadn't been in a while and was very disappointed. The fried calimari had an overly floury taste. The strip steak tasted previously frozen, lacked appropriate seasoning and was not unlike the steak that you might expect at a generic chain restaurant. The side dish was so forgettable that I can't remember it four days later.
'Is it worth the price?' - no. Service was slow. We had a ginger cocktail - tasty but overpriced at $10. "Crispy" scallops for $19 were breaded and soaked to a soggy mess in a thick corn starch and msg sauce that any cheaper chinese place would serve. The scallops underneath all of that goo were fine, but really, 'crispy?' 6 hour country pork with noodles for $18 was quite tasty - but make it at home in a slow cooker with some 5 spice.
Good wine list. Excellent asian fusion food.
