I left New York City 30 years ago for LA and my daughter now lives in NYC. I decided to show her a sample of my world from then but I was truly expecting The Four Seasons to be a little stale. Instead, it was fresh and great fun with a fascinating range of humanity around the bar, and an exciting mood in The Pool Room. A complete star in its own right. Most importantly, stimulating recommendations from our waiter and remarkably attentive service from a cast of servers. This architectural masterpiece is just a great one.

Sophisticated, quality, presence, memorable. All of the above and above all. For the special occasion that will become an instant treasured memory. Presentations are spectacular. “Waiters serve with verve” [Zagat’s 2011]. The city outside flutters through the floating window shades. During the holidays, the decorative mood memorizes. Do you recognize the person at the next table?
