Food is great! Decor is as good as it gets for a hole in the wall. But I find the best part to be the service. I always see the owners out talking with people as they eat, I have talked with them myself and they have a real interest in the lives their costumers. Definitely one of my favorites.

Service is consistently bad. I had them make a pasta dish with lobster and scallops, which normally marinara, with Alfredo instead, and it was great. Osso bucco was ok. Paying for bread kinda seems bad, but it is good with the pesto.

This is THE BEST Italian seafood I have ever had!! It was 30 years ago, and it still is. Don't be put off by its location or by the lack of reservations ...the wait is well worth it. The brothers are still there cooking a wide variety of perfectly created Italian. (The seafood fetuccini has always been my fav) This is as authentic as it gets. Over the years, I've taken colleagues from Italy there and they say it's better than they can get at home

I haven't been to Frenchie's since I lived in Houston... maybe 15 years ago... but it was great back then. And from reading the reviews, it still is. Don't be fooled by the strip mall along NASA 1 (or whatever that street's called now), this is a great restaurant!
