Everything was very tasty. We started with the signature snails which were fabulous. For main dishes we had the beef stroganoff, which was a tasty peppery filet on stroganoff noodles and the wallleye chowder with corn and scallops which was very fresh and flavorful. It seems like this is a place waiting to be discovered. It is close to TimeLine Theatre and they said they will be working with TimeLine for some pre/post theater specials.
We had a fabulous meal. Had two amazing appetizers and shared an entree which was just enough. One of the appetizers was their soft shell crab. It was a very interesting combinations of flavors that was out of this world.
Basic French bistro food from the Top Chef assembly line. Unfortunately, the precision and attention to detail you see at Sprout don't always translate to the food at F&S. This is a pretty good restaurant with room to grow, but it can't justify it's prices at the current status.
