Have been a regular at this place for a number of years now. I don't know what some of these people are talking about. Nick Kim is nothing but a gentleman at all times. The food is always fresh and the service is always attentive. Good accoustics. You can always have a conversation. Never rushed out no matter how busy they are (and they are pretty much always busy).

Went there two years ago and there were lipstick marks on my tea cup & my order got screwed up.Nick Kim, the owner (bald guy) seemed unphased and annoyed at me. Went back this weekend against my husband's will and once again the order got screwed up AND the chicken teryaki has pieces of dry previously frozen chicken. Nick Kim yelled at the waitress to TAKE IT AWAY and then told us he tasted it and it was not dry! This guy is complete DISGRACE!

Used to be the best sushi restaurant around. Now I believe profit margin is more important than service and quality. Walked in last night with my daughter, we were seated right away and then watched two servers and the "owner" try to accommodate all those tables and the sushi bar. The three walked by us (in the corner) three to four times a piece. The table never even got set! We walked out after 20 minutes and went downstairs to the hibachi. Again, we were seated right away, with another couple. We were serviced right away, placed orders, got my daughters soda and waited almost 30 minutes. I ordered sushi for dinner and it came to our seat BEFORE OUR COOK SHOWED UP. I had to go to the other owner (wife) and complain that we still didn't have a cook. One came right out. A third couple came later and their order was reversed and had to switch plates. Fabulous sushi and entrees. Always fresh and interesting. Very friendly staff and owner make the experience great. Best to call for reservation. Upstairs is sushi, downstairs in hibachi. A jewel in an out of the way place in Jersey.

A "what is this doing here?" gem. Consistently spectacular with no misses other than a somewhat small parking lot! Sushi is fresh and properly prepared while the rolls are creative and varied. It can get crowded but you can always get seats at the Sushi Bar. They do not have a liquor license, so BYOB your favorite wine or sake.
