Expensive for what you get. The parmesean snapper was ok. Service was good. The restaurant had a musty smell, maybe from being flooded during hurricanes. Decor was ok.
This is the first Zagat restaurant out of the three we eat at worthy of an entry in a food guide. My wife had red snapper which was cooked simply but was declared very good, I had gulf bay shrimps which were good. This certainly deserves an entry in a food guide. The price is for three people including a bottle of wine ($45). Service was excellent but this may change if the restaurant is full.
"Excellent and consistently great food with awesome family tradition. Well worth the wait! Their family cookbook is awesome. The Gaido family are proud of their heritage but never rest on their laurels, continually updating and improving their products. T"""
Reliable for fried seafood...especially soft shell crab.
Vastly overrated and expensive place that specializes mainly in fried everything from the sea. Its main attraction is probably that it is one of the very few big restaurants on the seafront. Fool me once.......
