Formulaic. The steak is nothing special - it's just steak with theatre.
Gaucho is expensive for what it is. Great view here but looking very rundown inside.
Consistent food quality and good service. Decor is not as nice as Picadilly's but wonderful view of Tower bridges any gaps!
Food is very good but the most interesting part is the wine menu where the Malbecs are identified by name and elevation of the winery. The sommellier is very competent and helpful. Might seem pricey on the whole but not outrageous.
Great food, and nice on a summer evening when the daylight still filters in. Come fall, mood lighting has anyone over the age of 40 fighting over the candles on the table, so we can read the menu
