I live a couple blocks from this retaurant and I have yet to actually eat there. I have waited 3 hours WITH a reservation.....at the bar. If you are not someone important, don't have high expectations of being seated.I hear the food is great........ if you make it past the bar.

Always one of my favoritre. A great steak house for dinner but it's also a great lunch brunch spot with a solid cocktail menu and lunch options. I enjoyed a half wedge salad and then a ribeye open faced sandwich which really hit the spot.

Staff was great but seemed as if I was causing them issues asking for help. The place was amazing but the food was not cooked to perfection as I would hope for at this level of steakhouse. There are better options out there for sure!

Food was good, although I had higher expectations. Service was excellent. Desserts are colossal. Overall, it is good, but I do think there are better options in Chicago.

Gibson's is the Chicago Steakhouse at the top of my list when entertaining customers.

I've been to Gibsons a few times. I am never disappointed. It is a classic steakhouse with great food and excellent service.
