The decor is dark and funky, more like a lounge than a restaurant but the food, delivered in reasonable portions best to be shared, was excellent. The truffle pasta you will not want to share! Service gets hung up a bit with a busy and lively crowd, and perhaps a little "I work in a cool place, so I'm cool" attitude.
Food was awesome! I was here with a couple of girlfriends on a rainy weekday. Contrary to what everyone else thinks, I think the vibe was very low key. I'd feel totally comfortable eating here alone in yoga pants! Maybe it's different on a Saturday night?
Food was very good, drinks were delicious, room was dark and a little noisy.
Food was very delicious. Had Gunthorp farm chicken with oregano & roasted garlic $19, beef pot roast with red wine glazed root vegetables $23. Food was really good but way overpriced for the portion size. So dark that we had to use Iphones to read the menu, the acoustics were bad so the noise level was high for talking with friends and the bathroom was downstairs and very secluded. Lots of great food in Chicago. Sadly, won't go for dinner again.
Very posh atmosphere. Can get crowded after 7PM, so go in early.
