    Beware of Roaches!
My mom and I sat at a booth for 2 next to the wall. My mom started screaming b/c of the roach crawling on the wall above the table. We jumped up, grabbed our food and moved tables. The waiter was extremely apologetic. We had no appetite to finish eating. When the bill came I asked if the manager was notified. He said yes but he never came to speak with us + offered no discount. We WON'T be eating at Gino's again!!

  • It isn't Brooklyn, but Gino's arguably offers the best slice in Long Beach. They are busy so anything ordered is no more than a few minutes out of the oven. Despite the busy counter and eat-in pizzeria, a small Italian restaurant section is tucked in the back. The menu will not disappoint.

  • Great food , descent decor make the service more tolerable. Parking is not easy, but the food is why you come! It is that good!

  • From what I hear this used to be by far and away the best pizza in Long Beach but for the past 3 years since I have lived here it has been just about average for the community. The grandma's pizza and regular slices are pretty good. I would not recommend making a special trip to go here but if you happen to be passing by (on the way to the beach from the train for example) it's not a bad place to stop off and grab a quick bite.

The front pizzeria belies what lies in the back of the building. While the pizza is great, in the back there is a a wonderful Italian restaurant with huge portions of delicious food. All seafood dishes resonate with the fresh gems of the sea. Chicken dishes shine and the chef boils up perfect al dente pasta. As you walk to the LIRR on your way back to NYC, stop in at Gino's; you will thank me in the morning.
