Been here several times. Osso Bucco is arguably as good as it gets. Almost every table can be a nice quiet "2 top" in the corner or a nice 4+. food is excellent. Service is good, but a little too taken for granted. Got to press them up.Last time , no specials were even mentioned. wine list is small but, very good and priced right.
But make no mistake, this place can really make a great dining experience.Published February 12, 2013 -
Although the room needs a redo, the food and service can't be beat. Proably L.I.'s best for Northern Italian - just don't go on a Saturday night - even the regulars have to wait.

Today I had lunch at Giulio Cesare. we were a party of 12. I have been privileged to eat there many times over the past 25 years. I am by no stretch of the imagination a regular. Yes the decor has remained much the same, and that is much of its charm. The staff from top to bottom has always been kind and attentive. The menu has remained the same over all the years. That’s why we go there. The food is outstanding service impeccable.
