This is a small unassuming restaurant owned by a couple that serve as waiter (him) and chef (her). The food spans the Caribbean and Mexico, but for lunch we went with for the Jamaican beef patties, jerk chicken with spicy fries and Jamaican ginger beer soda. The pastry shell for the patties was amazingly soft and the filling provided enough spice to keep them interesting. The jerk chicken proved to be spicy, tender and bountiful. A bargain.
Finally a new Jamaican restaurant. I love the food of this island nation. I lived in Florida before and the Jamaican food was so much better than what the older restaurant have.Goat Post is better on every level, cleaner, less expensive, and much, much better dishes.Their Jerk Chicken takes me back to my trip to Jamaica. Home-made Beef Patties.Check them out..In the walgreens plaza at Flamingo & Buffalo.
