This place has gone downhill big time. Their prices have skyrocketed & quality has declined. I wonder what is in the burger patty. Most items are frozen & re-heated. The owner doesn't convey the warm & fuzzies. Bathrooms are very dirty. If you are a woman you better know how to squat should you need to go. Maybe one day they will serve a coca-cola with syrup vs. their watered down version. I suggest you drive to Freeport to the Imperial.

12/6/2012, just arrived home from this diner as i was enjoying my dinner a small roach zipped across the table.i was like ok well sometimes these things happen.it went under the table now i am i hoping its not going to wind up on or in my coat next to me in the booth,so i move it to the next table.the waitress asked me why i moved,i told her discreatly about the roach.i saw her walk over to the owner and mentioned it to him.when she came over to

These owners are greedy. LI has been decimated & many have no power/heat. I asked for a table for 2 while I waited for my friend. A family of 5 was also waiting, with 1 person missing. Yet the owners wouldn't seat any of us. The man behind me said "I'm holding a baby & have a 90 yr old with me, why won't you seat us?" We were told it was policy. When we complained , the owner pushed me & threw us all out. Terrible community citizens!

Its a very likeable diner if you order smart. Prices are a little more substantial than usual diner fare, but the portions match what you pay for in most instances. Ordering beyond what you'd usually get from a diner (omelettes, sandwiches, pancakes, etc.) makes for a bad experience. For instance, my date somehow found a teriyaki dish (unusual but its there) in the menu. Bad idea- she ended up eating half of my burger instead. Order responsibly.

It's dificult times now, everything increases so to be able to maintain a diner as big as this one, prices will go up,but the quality and quantity of the food served here are fine. The quality of the food is great choice, but they should work on the apperance of the foods that go on the plates, they should make the apperance of the food look appetizing and clean. As for the servers they should get rid of a few.You get alot of food for your money.
