Want to chat up the friendliest bartender in town on the ground floor or go upstairs to the soda bread-serving pub-bistro fusion (where else are you going to find that) on the second floor? Put this one on your list. Kitchen's in the basement so the super friendly wait staff have to huff it up up and down the stairs of this classic 18-19th century pub. It has a prominent spot at the top of Salem St. in North Boston. Can't miss it.

This place is a great place to grab a drink and have some apps at the bar. The chicken wings are the best.
