Lunch is always full of French businessmen tucking in to giant plates of beef with frites, bottles of wine and Baba au Rhum (which you put together yourself from the rum, syrup and lightest of sponges.) Owner likes to portray himself as part of the entertainment but he knows how to provide real French provincial food of high quality and rustic simplicity. As he says, "Everything in this restaurant is delicious!"
Huge portions, friendly owner but totally overpriced compared with other Bistrots in Paris.
"The ""Stage Deli"" of Paris. Ego owner is hilarious. Best Steak Frites I know. Meat is tremendous. The endive is a legend. The Baba makes grown men weep. Potato Salad KING"
