For a special occasion
The decor is very old and outdated. Servers are still wearing tuxes and hair slick back. Personally, not my cup of tea but I'm not hating on it. Menu and decor match to the T. 90% of the menu was classic classic french. Almost everything on there I learned in culinary school.
Overpriced for what you're getting. Food is not up to standard for a "Fine dining" restaurant. Service was lousy.
Starting to feel its age..food is very good(salads leave a lot to be desired) however the service while professional and courteous, is less than attentive and not on the caliber you would expect. All of our main courses were very good however we were disappointed on numerous occasions when we needed our server, he was no where to be found. The decor is elegant but in need of some updating. Overall not what it use to be but still very good.
A venerable old establishment that is coasting on its reputation. Food is carefully prepared but totally uninspired. Wait staff is courteous but aloof, another hallmark of coasting. Prices are substantially above those of equal and superior competitors. The Grand needs a significant makeover before it coasts into the ground.
Delicious. Nothing else to say besides one of the best meals I have ever eaten.
