Great food and live jazz. Was there for Sunday brunch. Excellent choices on menu at a price that won't break the bank. Also have a jazz trio on Sunday's during brunch.
WE DINED THERE FOR RESTAURANT WEEK NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY,THE DISHES WERE OKAY AND THE BREAD PUDDING NEEDS A LOT OF WORK, IT WAS LIKE BREAD WITH A LITTLE PUDDING ON TOP.
I HAVE BEEN TO BETTER. SERVICE WAS .............. ... FOOD WAS ......... ...
This restaurant is horrible. I was rudely greeted by the hostess/owner.I was 20minlate for my reservation. After the owner rudely stated that she has more people coming in, suggesting I should rush, I apologized and explained that I had tried to call. Then she interrupted me during dinner, and had the waiter bring the check over. The food was overpriced and bland. I will never dine there again. The Jazz was great though, would love to hear them again
Ate for the first time at Grasso's and we were extremely pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. We had the peach salad and then veal scallopini - and the beet salad and pecan flounder - both were excellent and arrived in timely fashion. Waiters were very attentive and gave great service. Would plan on going back again ...hopefully soon!
Doesn't reserve the rave reviews by others. The appetizers were excellent as were the well prepared veal scallopini and dorado dishes. The broccoli rabe was also done perfectly. But the service was abysmal - almost non-existent. No refilling of water glasses, no inquiry about 2nd round of drinks, no waiter to be found between gossamer appearances with dishes. The owners (?) almost looked up to say "good night" as we left. Big deal.
