A very bustling scene in a large comfortable space had me anxious to try a steak. Unfortunately, the special of the night, a bone-in filet, was a disappointment. The "medium" was over-cooked, devoid of juice, and the flavor was modest. Other aspects of the meal , sides and dessert, were good. The service was wonderful, not pushy, but efficient. I would not need to visit this establishment again.

A busy restarant, staying full until late at night, Grill 23 combines excellent food, specifically their superb aged cuts, a friendly and highly knowledgable wait staff, as well as a pleasant and sophisticated atmosphere to create one of Boston's premiere dining experiences. Even if Grill 23's food were its only redeeming quality, I would still recommend it to anyone in Boston seeking an outstanding dining experience.

Good but not worth the money. I would go to a place like Ruth's Chris before here.

I keep going back here as I have clients that like the place. I just don't get it! Steaks are dry, sides are nothing to right home about, place is loud and service is aweful on a good night.
Does have a good and impressive wine list, but for steak and seafood in Boston, too many better options!

Simple the best steaks in Boston and the Service was excellent. Would recommend it for a nice dinner for two, but more for speciall occasions as it is really on the upper scale of the costs.
