The owners "making nice" don't make up for the lack of professionalism in the service. The food, while acceptable, does not live up to it's ratings. If they try to give you the table by the kitchen, Just Say No.

Its really what a restaurant should be about, relaxing and enjoying creative, delicious food. The menu presents the difficult task of having to choose from so many great dishes. The owner -chefs and staff are knowledgable and helpful . Cant wait to return.

Nose to tail pork celebration with great menu options that allow for a blow out meal, or several creative sharing plates to go along with a solid wine list before a night on the town.

Wonderful restaurant, never disapppoints! A tad bit small but you soon forget that with one taste of your meal. And backyard seating in warmer months is more spacious.

I go here with my co-workers at least once a week after work. We absolutely love this place. The food is great, the location is awesome and the service is fantastic. I highly recommend going here if you get the chance.

For years, my friends and I have been making a monthly pilgrimage to the Grocery for their innovative and delicious dishes. The owners, a dedicated duo of a true host and a talented chef, are a team that have been putting up the high scores for the longest time. The ingredients are organic and super fresh. We look forward to our trip to Carroll Gardens and always leave with a great experience.
