Great steak house. Server did a good job of making sure it was cooked properly. Sides were good as well. The downstairs bar gets pretty crowded and loud with a younger crowd, so go upstairs if you want a quieter experience

My wife and I live in the Buckhead area and eat out about 6 days a week. We're known at most restaurants and are usually treated well, even if the staff doesn't know us. I have avoided Hal's due to a bad experience seven years ago. As my daughter was celebrating her 27th birthday, I let her pick the restaurant and take care of all the reservations. She picked Hal's.

Hal's has been a favorite of mine for several years. As a couple, my husband and I have had some of the best conversations here over my favorite steak in Atlanta! When we bring friends, the evening turns up a notch into a high energy evening full of fabulous food, great drinks and loads of fun!

This restaurant is past its prime.Good Bar/Lounge, but food was just fair and not at @ 27 Zagat rating.Portions were small.
