We went on a packed saturday night and lucked out with seats at bar. Bartender was fantastic despite how busy it was and even made us a custom drink. Food was equally as fantastic; we had a few small plates- sweet corn, spicy mussels and cauliflower- all delicious, corn was the best of the 3. Grilled lamb entree was the best- cooked to perfect med. rare and the spicy spinach and potato slices were a great compliment. Definitely going back soon.
Nicely textured stuff, like mushrooms melded with asparagus, arugula and truffle, and cucumber shavings with olive vinegrette, whipped feta and non-plastic tomatoes in November for pleasing mouthfuls. Holely, crusty Italian bread with melted butter ma non troppo came with our day's omelet. Spontaneously willing waitress plus chef came up with herb tea amplified with a soupçon of honey. Theatrical collage of varied shapes, colors and surfaces.
